What Polish is

Polish is a booking and discovery platform that connects clients with independent nail professionals and salons. Professionals set their own services, prices, schedules, and deposit policies. Polish is not a party to the appointment itself: services are performed by, and paid to, the professional.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Polish, and old enough to form a binding contract to book services.

Bookings, cancellations, and no-shows

Appointments are paid at the salon, directly to the professional. Polish adds no booking fee for clients.

• ✦You may cancel a booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment.
• ✦Some professionals require a deposit card on file. If you miss an appointment or cancel within 24 hours of it, the professional may charge the deposit shown at booking.
• ✦Deposits are processed by Stripe and paid to the professional, less a small platform fee.

Professional memberships

Professionals subscribe to Polish Pro to receive bookings. Memberships are billed monthly through Stripe on the web. You can cancel at any time; your membership and booking eligibility continue until the end of the paid period, and promotional pricing is available once per account. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Your content

You own the photos, posts, and reviews you publish. By posting, you grant Polish a non-exclusive license to display that content within the service (for example, in the feed, on profiles, and in discovery). Post only content you created or have the right to share.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service. This includes harassment, fraudulent bookings, fake reviews, scraping, attempting to circumvent deposits or fees, or any unlawful activity. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

Polish provides the platform "as is." We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or outcome of services performed by professionals, and disputes about a service are between you and the professional. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polish's liability arising out of your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid to Polish in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and contact
